About Us
After working as a Consulting Geologist for the development industry for over 10 years, our Director Lewis Gibbs decided to embark on his own challenge of raising the standards for data acquisition within the industry and formed Peak Drilling Site Investigation and Geo Services Ltd.
Lewis graduated from Leeds University with a first class degree in Geological Sciences, before commencing work as an Exploration Geologist in the Australian mining industry. Gaining exposure and experience of conducting site work on a large scale and in very remote and challenging working conditions, Lewis was well equipped for a move into the development industry in the UK in 2013, where he gained a wealth of site investigation experience working for a medium sized ground risk consultancy.
Naturally, he progressed into a Senior role within the company, managing projects with values of over £600k, ranging from small scale land appraisals for house building sites, to complex drill and grout stabilisation programmes for underground coal workings.
Following the dream of running his own company, and getting back outdoors, Lewis purchased a window sample rig and established his own company. With a substantial level of experience, technical knowledge, creativity and drive, Lewis hopes to diversify and grow the company, improving the way such works are conducted within the industry and providing multiple in-house services, streamlining the process of this aspect of land appraisal for current and future clients.
